Review
Stories shape how we see the world. They influence what we believe is normal, whose voices matter, and how we understand power. At the Intersectionality Lab – European Research Center, we approach films, books, series, and other media not just as entertainment, but as cultural narratives that shape society.
Our reviews ask critical questions: Whose stories are told? Who is represented with complexity, and who becomes a stereotype? Which perspectives are missing?
Rather than labeling media as simply “good” or “bad,” we explore representation, historical context, narrative framing, and industry dynamics. Media both reflects and shapes social systems.
By engaging critically with stories, we open space for dialogue, deeper reflection, and a better understanding of how culture influences the world around us. 🎬📚
