The Intersectionality Lab Podcast

What happens when research leaves the lab and enters real-world conversation?
What happens when lived experience sits at the same table as theory?

The Intersectionality Podcast is where these worlds meet.

A Space for Dialogue

Our podcast was created as an open, reflective space to explore power, identity, and social transformation through an intersectional lens. It is not a lecture series. It is not a debate stage.

It is a conversation.

We talk about the structures that shape our lives like gender, race, class, disability, sexuality, migration, or colonial histories and consider how they intersect in everyday experiences. We unpack concepts, question assumptions, and explore the tensions that come with critical work.

Two Formats, One Mission

🎙 Unfiltered Team Conversations
In these episodes, our team reflects on current topics, theoretical frameworks, and ongoing social debates. We share thoughts in process, sometimes unfinished, sometimes challenging, always grounded in care and critical inquiry. The idea is to be transparent about our own path.

🎙 Guest Episodes
We invite researchers, activists, educators, artists, and community members to share their perspectives and expertise. These conversations amplify diverse voices and center knowledge that is often overlooked or neglected.

Both formats are rooted in curiosity and accountability.

Beyond Academic Language

Intersectionality can feel complex. However, complexity should not mean inaccessibility.

The podcast translates theory into dialogue. We explore concepts in ways that connect to daily life, current events, and collective struggles. We slow down conversations that are often oversimplified. We make space for nuance.

Listening as Practice

Listening is political.

To listen deeply means to recognize perspectives beyond our own, to question what we thought, we knew, and to remain open to change. The podcast invites you into that process. Not as a passive audience, but as part of a shared learning journey.
