We are an European Research Center dedicated to Gender and Intersectionality

Meet our team

Behind the Intersectionality Lab – European Research Center is a collective of researchers, educators, activists, and critical thinkers who believe that knowledge should move beyond institutions and into communities.

We are not a single voice. We are a dialogue.

Who We Are

Our team brings together diverse academic backgrounds, lived experiences, and areas of expertise. We work across disciplines and beyond traditional boundaries because intersectional work demands complexity, collaboration, and curiosity.

We are scholars who question structures.
Educators who translate theory into practice.
Activists who connect research to lived realities.
And lifelong learners who constantly reflect on our own positioning within systems of power.

Diversity within our team is not symbolic. It shapes how we think, design, and act.

How We Work

Our internal process reflects our external mission. We approach our work with:

  • Critical reflection
  • Mutual accountability
  • Collaborative decision-making
  • Openness to feedback
  • A commitment to reducing harm

We challenge each other. We support each other. We grow together.
Intersectionality is not just our framework. It is our daily practice.

Beyond Titles

While we hold different roles, being researchers, coordinators, project managers, facilitators, content creators, we see leadership as shared and dynamic. Expertise is distributed, not centralized.

We recognize that knowledge does not only come from formal education, but from lived experience, community engagement, and personal journeys of reflection and unlearning.

A Growing Collective

Our team evolves as our work expands. We collaborate with researchers, community partners, educators, and podcast speakers who enrich our perspectives and challenge our thinking.

The Intersectionality Lab is a living network of people committed to critical knowledge and social transformation.

What Unites Us

Curiosity.
Accountability.
Care.
And the belief that knowledge is powerful when it is shared responsibly.

We are here to question, to connect, and to co-create spaces where learning leads to action.

Come and meet us.
